The Honda Civic has long been viewed as a reliable and fuel-efficient compact car. And now, it’s 2017 iteration just elevated the nameplate to a whole new level with its crisp handling and spacious interior.

The 2017 Civic is, definitely, another fuel-efficient model and its optional CVT automatic transmission enables owners to gain the maximum level of fuel savings.

With its base four-cylinder mill, the Civic is capable of up to 40mpg but its turbocharged model takes it a notch higher at 42mpg.

Most buyers may be more attracted to the optional turbocharged mill as it delivers potent performance without giving up any fuel efficiency. The engine is capable of churning out 174 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. When put to test, the Civic hits 60mph in a matter of 6.8 seconds.

However, it seems most fans are excited for the 2017 Civic as this model is said to be even more fun-to-drive compared to its predecessors.

The latest Civic offers a brisk acceleration which allow drivers to merge onto the highway with ease and confidence. Aside that, the 2017 model comes with sharper handling and its steering system provides a solid connection to the road.

Even with all that features, the Honda Civic still manages to maintain an incredibly smooth ride quality. As if that wasn’t impressive enough, the 2017 Civic earned a glorious five-star safety rating thanks to its excellent crash protection and practical driving aids such as Honda’s exclusive LaneWatch camera system.

The all-new Honda Civic does seem like an impressive vehicle; do you have any reason to refute that?
