Honda has hit another monthly sales record by achieving 121,686 units of sales in February. This marks a 2.3 percent increase from February last year.

However, the Honda Accord saw a 9 percent drop in sales to a total 23,455 unit, whereas the Honda Civic recorded a 2.4 percent decline in sales to 27,039 units.

Fortunately, Honda CR-V was quick to step in to save the day for the automaker. For the second consecutive month, the CR-V has hit double-digit sales gain along with a record result. This model managed to record a 26.3 percent hike to a total of 31,896 units of sales.

The HR-V subcompact crossover also recorded an uptick of 28.6 percent from its February 2016 sales.This February, the model managed to sell 6,345 units. As a result, Honda’s overall sales saw a 4.3 percent increase to 110,822 units of sales.

That’s not all – Honda also manged to surpass overall US Sales which saw a 2.1 percent drop.

Well, the Accord and Civic may have dragged Honda down for February but the CR-V offsets their decline and pushes the automaker’s total sales higher.
