Nissan has announced that the 2017 Rogue Sport will be launched for sale on May 11 in US dealerships. The model will kick off at $22,380 for the entry-level S front-wheel drive model and this includes the $960 destination charge.

Meanwhile, the higher trim SV model will start off at $23,980 whereas the top grade SL model will begin at $27,030. All these three models can be bought with AWD setup for an extra $1,350.

The most inexpensive Nissan Rogue S is priced at $24,760 – this means the Rogue Sport gains a pretty decent price cut over the larger kin. However, the model doesn’t come with the Rogue’s 2.5-liter four mill; it comes with a 2.0-liter four cylinder mill that churns out 141 horsepower paired to a CVT.

Although it is narrower, Nissan claims that there is adequate space for 22.9 cubic feet of cargo when the rear seat is pushed up and 61.1 when the seats are down.

Many folks have disclosed that they find the latest model much more appealing than the previous version and many are waiting to see how truly sporty it is.

The 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport will be coming with an array of convenience features such as navigation along with an Around View monitor. Aside that, there will also be adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and several other features.
