2017 Tesla Model S: Slow Customers Lose More
Tesla has recently affirmed that the base price of its Model S will be hiked up by $2,000 from November 22.
This model has a 218 miles in range and can reach a 0-60 mph in 5.5 seconds. Impressive numbers but just not as impressive as the $74,500 Model S 75.
This isn’t something new for the automaker. Tesla had terminated its cheapest models in its lineup or increased their base price numerous times.
It has also hiked up the price of its optional features as well as wiped out the free Supercharging plan for new Model X and S buyers.
It seems pretty evident that Tesla is attempting to increase its sales figures. Well, it looks like it is on the right track as it did record a good third quarter this year.
If you have been considering the model S 60, it’s best you seize one today as the $66,000 price will not be around for long given the way Tesla has been increasing the price of its vehicles. Those who deliberate and wait longer before placing their orders would end up paying more.
