2018 Acura TLX: No Beak, Still Bad
Acura’s TLX may be a base premium model that is based on Honda’s Accord but the former comes with its own running gear along with different mills and distinct exterior as well as interior elements.
The 2018 Acura TLX just recently made its official debut at the 2017 New York Auto Show where it impressed with its sharp, aggressive exterior design cues.
Under the hood, the 2018 model comes with an option of a 2.4L inline four-cylinder or a V6 engine. The 2018 TLX will be coming in three distinct trims which includes the new TLX A-Spec kit.
The V6 A-Spec will be available with front or AWD setups and it will come with LED fog lights, edgy side sills, large round dual-exhaust ports along with a gloss back decklid spoiler.
As impressive as these may sound, it looks like folks aren’t very pleased with how the model turned out. Despite doing away with the beak, the model still seems to be ugly in the eyes of fans.
According to numerous Reddit threads, folks seem to like the way the rear looks but simply can’t stand how its front end looks like. Some folks described that they particularly hate the chrome trim on the 2018 Acura TLX’s front bumper while others just hate how the whole revamp for the 2018MY looks.
