2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Faces Price Problems
So, the highly anticipated Dodge Demon is finally out and the world now know all there is the know about the new powerful beast. However, there is one thing that is still under the wraps.
We’re talking about the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon’s price. Although Tim Kuniskis, the head of passengers cars of FCA North America, said that pricing details will be revealed in June, many fans are already sure that dealers will be drastically marking up the price.
This is an obvious thing as the Dodge Demon is a limited edition model and this is a usual case. The dealers don’t think twice about it as there are many folks who are willing to pay more just to be the one with the rare car.
There will only be 3,300 units of the Demon for North America but Kuniskis have said that it will be difficult for dealers to mark up the price too high. This is because each unit will come with a plaque placed on the dashboard with the first owner’s name.
Well, we don’t know if it will stop the dealers in hiking up the prices too far but perhaps it would reduce the percentage of mark up. What do you say?
