2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon: Some Folks Are Too Hard-To-Please

By  |

After 14 weeks of teasing, Dodge has finally revealed its most powerful machine to date, the all-new Challenger SRT Demon, and it looks like Satan itself may have had a hand in its production.

This beast is said to be so fast that it has already been banned by the NHRA. The 2018 Dodge Demon comes with a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 that is strong enough to put out 840 horsepower and 770 lb-ft of twist.

The Demon also comes with a 1.8 G and this is the highest G-force level for a production machine. On top of that, this model is the first production car to be able to carry out a wheelie at 2.92 ft that is Guinness World Records certified.

It only needs 2.3 seconds to hit 60mph from a complete standstill and it whizzes through a quarter mile in a mere 9.6 seconds!

This demonic model is definitely impressive; however, it looks like some folks are just too hard-to-please. As seen on Reddit threads, some people are disappointed that the Demon didn’t come with over 1,000 horsepower as rumored prior to the big reveal.

Some even said that they dislike the fact that the Demon looks very alike to the Challenger Hellcat. Well, sometimes it’s what’s inside that matters – and some people just can’t seem to get that.
