When Ford finally unveiled its latest, and probably greatest, Mustang, many fans were truly and utterly smitten. Although the 2018 Mustang didn’t receive a massive overhaul from its predecessor, it does comes with brand new features and technology.

The revamp for its 2018MY comprises of a boost in it’s horsepower and torque figures that is churned out from the dual-injected 5.0-liter Coyote engine for the GT. The 2.3-liter EcoBoost mill, on the other hand, will be receiving a hike in its torque level.

The 2018 Mustang will also be gaining an enhanced variant of the MT-82 transmission as well as a complete digital LCD instrument cluster.

Aside that, the Ford will come with heated steering-wheel, Active Valve Performance Exhaust, 10-speed automatic transmission along with the optional MagneRide damping system.

Fans are clearly excited for the Mustang’s arrival and simply can’t wait to nab one, as seen on numerous Reddit threads. Many have even said that Ford is coming closer to the Camaro SS.

Ford vs Chevy: Heat Is On!

Some folks are hoping that the 2018 Mustang will be coming with 465 horsepower and 425 lb-ft of torque. If this materializes, then there’s no doubt that the Ford will be crushing the Camaro.

For the 2018MY, the Mustang sure looks like it’s ready to topple its rivals all the way to the top. Do you think these improvements are enough to push you to pick up the all-new ‘Stang?
