Ford has just announced the new EPA numbers for the 2018 Ford Mustang EcoBoost and GT model and while overall, the fuel efficiency of the Ford Mustang is better now, we don’t think it is enough to get excited over.
Previous leak suggests that the 2018 Ford Mustang was going to come fitted with a 10-speed automatic transmission which indicated that it will be more fuel efficient and now Ford has revealed the actual fuel economy numbers for the Ford Mustang.
It was announced that the turbocharged fo8ur cylinder EcoBoost model will now offer about 32mpg on the highway and 25mpg on average. The Ford Mustang GT, on the other hand, will offer about 16mpg in the city, 25mpg on the highway and 19mpg on average.
Overall, it is not a huge jump but it is an improvement, something that the 2018 Ford Mustang buyers will appreciate.
