There may be very little details on the upcoming Honda Accord for the 2018MY but it’s been leaked that this all-new Honda will be following in the Toyota Camry’s footsteps by growing bigger.

Based on the spy shots, it’s evident that the Honda Accord will be much bigger compared to its previous generations. According to AutoGuide, this new Accord will be utilizing a larger version of the Civic and the upcoming CR-V’s platform. However, this built will be similar to VW’s flexible MQB modular platform.

Meanwhile, the US version of the 2018 Toyota Camry will be arriving with a significantly longer wheelbase, wider body and tracks, elongated roof as well as with a bigger set of wheel arches.

A report by Wheels states that the model’s length will be raised 10mm to 4859mm while its width will receive a 20mm increase to 1839mm. The Camry’s wheelbase will gain a 50mm hike to 2824mm whereas the height will be dropping from 1470mm to 1440mm.

Look out for the 2018 Honda Accord expected to debut sometime during the second half of this year while sales are slated to kick of mid next year.
