2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee: Too Much Power?

During the 2017 New York Auto Show, Jeep unveiled its all-new Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and this model was quick to secure the spot of the most powerful SUV ever.

This Hellcat-powered Jeep is good for 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque and it only needs 3.5 seconds to hit a 0 to 60mph.

Meanwhile, the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk completes a quarter mile in a mere 11.6 seconds with an impressive top speed of 180mph! This model is so potent that it could even surpass the Bentley Bentayga in some ways.

However, some folks can’t shake off the feeling that all this power may be too much for a vehicle that rides that high. Well, do you think so too?

The 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is fitted with a 6.2L supercharged V8 engine mated to an eight-speed self-shifter. On top of that, the model comes with a 15.75-inch Brembo braked with strong rear axle, quad exhaust setup and functional cold air scoop.
