Fiat Chrysler revealed that it would be investing $1 billion to produce vehicles, including the Jeep Wrangler and the Wagoneer, in Michigan and Ohio. The company predicts that its investment will be opening up about 2,000 jobs in both states.
This is happy news not only to the FCA but also to the President-elect Donald Trump, who expressed his pleasure with this new arrangement via Twitter.

Although Trump may sound like he had a hand in this, Sergio Marchionne, CEO of FCA, begs to differ. Marchionne revealed that the decision to invest in factories in Michigan and Ohio was already mapped out prior to Trump nabbing the President of the Unite States title. He also clarified that FCA has not collaborated with Trump or his associates over this decision.
Well, either way it’s good news for locals as this means more jobs and maybe even a better quality life.
