2018 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Edges Closer To The Future
Mercedes-Benz S-Class series for the 2018MY has been revealed at the recent Shanghai Motor Show. The lineup will be available in six trim levels and it will be boasting some new front and back bumpers along with new headlights and taillights.
On top of that, the models now come standard the front grille that was previously a V12 model-exclusive. Meanwhile, the interior of the S-Class series will be featuring a brand new three-spoke steering wheel, the latest COMAND multimedia system along with a pair of 12.3-inch display.
All these models will be arriving with new engines. The S450 will be equipped with a 3.0L biturbo V6 mill while the S560 comes with a 4.0L biturbo V8 and the AMG S63 with a 4.0L biturbo V8.
The top range model, AMG S65, comes with a 6.0L biturbo V12 mill and there is also the Maybach S560 with a 4.0L biturbo V8 and the S650 with a 6.0L biturbo V12.
The most impressive feature of the S-Class series is the fact that it will be fitted with the new Intelligent Drive technology. This proves that the series is edging closer to the future of self-driving.
Aside that, the series will also be coming with Active Distance Assist Distronic and Active Steering Assist which will provide more support to the driver.
