The upcoming second-gen Nissan Leaf was recently spotted doing its test run under disguise. It appears that Nissan has done away with the vertical taillamps which had garnered plenty of negative attention in the previous model.
However, the automaker has incorporated elements of the IDS concept shown in 2015, such as the V-motion grille, body-side sculpting as well as the possible floating-roof design.
Based on the spy shots, it’s evident that the 2018 Nissan Leaf would look a lot better than the existing model. But, this makes us wonder, what does 2018 have in store for the BMW i3?
BMW is sprucing up its BMW i3 for the 2018 model year and CarBuzz caught the test mule on camera. Before you get too excited, the spy shots reveal that this model will not be getting a drastic makeover.
The automaker incorporated a new front bumper, updated the headlight graphics and played around with the rear bumper. Its dashboard will also be updated with a new infotainment system.
That said, the BMW i3 will still remain as the same weird and ugly model it has always been viewed as. Well, there’s no denying that it did look like something out of this world when it first arrived so it’s best to keep your hopes low for 2018.
