The Subaru Ascent has been spotted testing under lots of camouflage. This three-row crossover is essentially the production version of the Viziv-7 Concept seen at last year’s Los Angeles Auto Show.
Just like in the past, the Ascent will be coming with a toned down styling version of the concept. However, its front fascia looks almost identical to the Viziv-7 concept.
When Subaru debuted the concept, the automaker revealed that the production version of the model will be the brand’s largest vehicle ever produced and it will be underpinning Subaru’s new platform.
The Viziv-7 concept measured at 204.7-inches length and 79.9-inches width while riding on a 117.7-inch wheelbase. This sure looks like a worthy rival against Volkswagen’s Atlas!
There hasn’t been any confirmation but it’s likely that we’ll be seeing the production Subaru Ascent at the 2017 New York Auto Show taking place next month.
Despite the uncertainty around its debut date, Subaru has confirmed that the Subaru Ascent will be arriving to dealerships in North America some time early 2018.
