2018 Toyota Camry: Success After Prius Failure
At the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, Toyota unveiled its all-new Camry, it’s eight generation to be exact, which impressed the audience with its new sporty vibe.
The new Prius had failed because Toyota ruined its design by making it too aggressive. This time it’s clear that the automaker has learned from its mistakes by designing the new-gen Camry just right.
Many folks have said that they are really loving this new design, especially the way the grille looks. And, it’s apparent that this new design may reel in some non-Toyota fans, as well.
The 2018 Toyota Camry underpins the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) architecture, just like the Prius and C-HR. Thanks to this platform, the models have much sportier handling as it has lighter construction and a lower center of gravity.
This all-new Camry will be coming with three powertrain options, a 2.5-liter inline-four paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission, a 3.5-liter V6 and a hybrid setup mating the 2.5-liter inline-four to an E-CVT.
Well, do you love what Toyota has done to its revamped Camry?
