Artist X-Tomi recently released a rendering of a Volvo XC60 with a Polestar twist to it. The model sports the large 22-inch wheels from the XC90 R-Design along with some black paint for the mirror caps.
The grille also received some drastic revamps along with the lower part of the bumper. Although the company remains quiet on the topic of adding a thoroughbred version of the XC60 into the Polestar range, this doesn’t mean it will never happen.
The Polestar division also develops the ‘Performance Optimization’ which brings little revamps to the engine and transmission, resulting in faster gear changes and quicker throttle response, among others.
This package is available for even the T8 Twin Engine option. It has been reported that Volvo may be planning to bring the 90 series Polestar-engineered versions to the market in time but no specific time has been given.
Well, whatever it is, just remember that the T8 Twin Engine is anything but a loser. It is capable of churning out up to 401 horsepower and 472 lb-ft of torque and could hit 62mph in 5.3 seconds. Plus, it even has an all-electric NEDC-rated range of 28 miles.
