Jeep has just announce the new price list for the 2019 Jeep Cherokee model and while the new lower price tag of the base model looks promising, it is only just a ruse as fans will soon realize that the rest of the trims were not given the same treatment.
The new Latitude base trim model will cost $300 less now but that is the only discount we will see from the Jeep Cherokee lineup. The Latitude Plus model will now cost $300 more pushing the price to $27,690 while the Limited trim will cost $680 more now.
The Trailhawk model will now cost $34,515, a $2425 price hike while the Overland model will retail for $36,275 now which means it is $2280 more expensive than the previous model.
The new Jeep Cherokee will be arriving with a 2.4 liter engine under the hood. Other engine option includes the 3.2 liter naturally aspirated V6 engine as well as the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The engines will be mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
