For most of late last year and early this year, we’ve been hearing tonnes of news and rumors on the Wrangler pickup – there’s no doubt that this is a highly anticipated machine. And now, we’ve finally got our first glimpse of the Wrangler pickup!
Thanks to dedicated spy photographers over at AutoGuide, the Wrangler pickup was caught on camera looking very much production ready compared to the last spy shot that surfaced back in last year summer.
If you look closely, you’ll notice that the bed looks production ready and the wheels appears to be nicely fitted in the wells. According to a report by AutoGuide, this pickup is a four-door Unlimited model and it’s possibly a Rubicon model.
The Wrangler Pickup is slated to hit the market in late 2019 and it’s expected to be coming with a turbocharged four-cylinder mill as the base engine while a 3.6L V6 and a six-cylinder diesel may be possible options.
On top of that, there are also rumors that there could be a plug-in hybrid version, as well. Well, we’ll just have to wait to know for sure.
