Epa has finally released the fuel economy ratings for the Volvo XC40 compact SUV. Here is what the vehicle will be returning right now.
The Volvo XC40 will be offering about 248hp and according to EPA, it would return about 23mpg in the city and 31mpg on the highway which is quite decent as it beats models like the BMW X1 and the Audi Q3 Quatro even though it has a slightly cheaper price tag compared to those two.
The Mazda CX-5, on the other hand, will offer you a better fuel economy with 24mpg in the city and 30mpg on the highway and comes with a much smaller price tag but then again, the Mazda CX-5 only offers about 184hp while the Volvo XC40 offers 248hp.
Some people might also compare it with the Mercedes Ben GLA 250 which is sold for a similar price but has a similar fuel economy as well but it offers 40hp less than the Volvo XC40.
The Volvo XC40 T5 AWD model retails for $35,200.
