Alcatel is a company that has openly transferred ownership many times throughout the years. This smartphone manufacturer, popular in Europe as it offers affordable devices, had impressed at the CES 2017.

Alcatel announced that its Alcatel A3 XL will be measuring at 6-inches and now we know what that XL stands for. Despite only coming with a 720p HD display, it is cheap and features a fingerprint scanner.

What’s more – this device will be coming with Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. The Alcatel A3 XL, measuring at 165 x 82.5 x 7.9mm, boasts an 8MP rear-facing camera with 720p 30fps video as well as a 5MP selfie camera.

Other specs include a 1GB RAM with 8GB internal storage, which isn’t that impressive if compared to what the market currently offers. However, it does comes with a 3,000 mAh battery which suggests a decent amount of battery life.

Although the Alcatel A3 XL isn’t the best of all the devices, it is still a device that should be considered, especially since it has been confirmed to be coming with the highly anticipated Nougat update for a price tag of a mere $200.
