The iPhone 6s may have crossed the one year mark but it is still a dependable device. If the $599 price tag on the new iPhone 7 is a bit off your budget, you could always settle for the next best thing, the iPhone 6s, at about $499.

Although the iPhone 6s doesn’t come with a black finishing option like the iPhone 7, it comes in four color choices; silver, gray, gold and pink. This device measures at 5.5-inches which is comfortable enough for long time usage but unlike the latest iPhone, this device lacks in water resistance.

However, the iPhone 6s features a headphone jack, which the iPhone 7 lacks, along with the Retina screen which is still sharp and produces realistic looking images. Of course, we have to say that it does not have the same wide color gamut of the latest iPhone.

With the help of iOS 10, the iPhone 6s has really been enhanced and Apple’s A9 processor is still pretty much capable. On top of that, the iPhone 6s’ battery is said to be able to last a day and a half with average usage.

There’s no denying that the iPhone 7 comes with a top-notch camera, the new 12MP iSight camera, but the iPhone 6s’ 12MP back camera and 5MP front camera is still great at churning out excellent images.

Judging from this, the iPhone 6s will only be of better value than the latest iPhone if it comes with a good price cut. And that won’t be too hard to find since it is the older device.
