Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus a stunning device that boasts an equally stunning set of features and specs. The 5.5-inch device is resistant to dust and up to one meter of water for about 30 minutes.
That’s not all – it is powered by Apple’s A10 Fusion processor and fitted with a 2,900mAh battery unit. The iPhone 7 Plus sports a dual 12MP rear-facing camera and it has a selfie-snapper that measures at 7MP.
Although the device lacks in the beloved 3.5mm headphone jack, it makes it up with its gorgeous image producing capabilities. One of the most impressive features on this device is its Portrait Mode which produces top-notch Instagram-worthy pictures.
However, it looks like the device hasn’t been making all its users happy. According to a Redditor who just received his iPhone 7 Plus back in November last year, the device has been failing in terms of battery.
The iPhone used to be able to last an entire day with 15 to 40 percent battery left at the end of the day but these days, the device seems to only hold charge up till noon.
Other Redditors suggested that it could be due to a poor app updated at the same time. To combat this, the user will need to force quit all apps and power cycle the device. After that, he will have to run it for a while without any third party apps.
Well, whatever the root of the problem is, it is definitely disappointing to see this happening to a fairly new device. Could this be an indication of Apple’s falling standards?
