It’s always frustrating when your iPhone keeps reminding you that your device’s storage space is running out as that means you have to start weeding out your apps – and no one likes that.
If you have been plagued with the lack of storage issue, there is a way you could free up storage space on your iPhone without needing to delete your beloved apps. Yes, you heard that right!
iPhones typically stores all of your text messages forever and this could be useful in some cases but it does take up a whole lot of space on your device. Your best bet is to turn this feature off by navigating to your Settings>Messages>Message History>Keep Messages then change ‘Forever‘ to ‘30 days‘ or ‘1 year‘ and tap on the pop up to delete older texts.
Alternatively, you could also try clearing out your cache. If you are one who depends on Safari for a lot of things, your iPhone may be storing heaps of web history and data that you could do without. To clear this, go to Settings>Safari>Clear History and Website Data.
Well, give these suggestions a try and let us know if you manage to clear up storage space on your iPhone!
