The Ludicrous-enabled Tesla Model S P100D may not be the quickest vehicle in the world, but it is as quick as the Lamborghini Huracan which costs almost twice as much and is good for 602hp and 412lb-ft torque.

Both vehicles can sprint from a standstill to 60mph in 2.5 seconds flat, a timing also achieved by the 1,200hp Bugatti Veyron; but the French super car belongs in another stratosphere altogether.

The folks at DragTimes have sought to conduct a tie-breaker between the Model S P100D and Lambo Huracan by pitting them together in a quarter-mile run. There’s an eventual winner, but the difference comes at barely one-tenth of a second.

If you’re a Tesla fan, then sound the drums, because the Model S emerged victorious with a time of 10.825 seconds at 122.93mph against the 10.843 seconds managed by the Huracan at 127.23mph.

However, it is worth noting that this comparison isn’t exactly fair, given that all one needs to do for the all-electric Model S is floor the pedal the whole way through, plus there wouldn’t be any mistakes with the sedan’s launch.

Anyway, you can check out the video of the race below:
