Remember how much you hated it when someone eats a candy in front of you when you’re not supposed to have one when you were a kid? Well, it looks like history is repeating itself and this time, it’s the Europeans who are chomping down the candy in front of us.

BMW has just brought on a new model, the quad-turbocharged M550d; sadly, this isn’t available over in North America so we’re left to watch the Europeans in envy.

The M550d is the second M Performance model in the automaker’s 5 Series lineup following the V8 M550i that was released early this year.

This new addition comes with a new diesel 3.0L inline-six mill with four turbochargers that is capable of churning out 394 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of twist. This mill will be mated to an eight-speed automatic and there is no other option besides that.

The M550d will be arriving as a sedan or a wagon and its comes with a one-of-a-kind sport body kit featuring exclusive 19- or 20-inch wheels. Meanwhile, the interior has a M Performance theme that comes with sport seats, faux-suede accents, aluminum dash, door and console trim.

Sounds good, right? Too bad, we can’t get our hands on this..
