BMW’s all-new flagship SUV was recently spotting carrying out its rounds of tests over at the Nurburgring and it was obvious that the full-size SUV is nearing its final stages of production.

This new BMW X7 rides on the CLAR platform that was debuted on the all-new 7 Series; however, for this model, the platform was stretched and restructured to handle the body of this large model.

Despite being under heavy camouflage, the X7 looks fitting enough to stand against all other range-topping SUVs currently on the market, such as the Mercedes-Benz GLS as well as the bigger Range Rover models, as described by AutoGuide.

Expect to see this model coming with six and eight-cylinder mills when it makes its arrival sometime in 2018. There is also a possibility that the model could be coming with a plug-in hybrid powertrain since it is employing the CLAR platform.

BMW has affirmed that the 2019 BMW X7 will be constructed over at its plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
