During the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, Bugatti nabbed the award for the best stand. A group of jury, made up of communications and publicity specialists from the CPG, decided that Bugatti deserved the 14th Creativity Award of the CPG after thorough analyzing.
They were smitten with the stand’s curved roof and how the curves surrounded a light shaft that illuminated the 1,500hp Chiron featuring a new exposed carbon fiber color called “Bleu Royal.”
That’s not all – the jurors were also impressed with Bugatti’s attention to detail and how the company manged to make its exhibition area stand out – even though it was fairly small and only had one car to show.
The Chiron is the company’s pride right now as 250 out of the 500 units planned for production have already been pre-ordered after its debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
The automaker has started delivering the units a couple of weeks back and it will commence test drives for potential buyers sometime toward the end of this month.
A report from Motor1 states that more than 1,800 distinct parts are being consolidated by 20 Bugatti employees and “it takes approximately six months from the Chiron’s start of production until the joyous delivery day.”
