The latest Dodge Viper ACR has been busy running around Nurburgring in an attempt to find out how fast it can go on the track.
The first attempt saw the Viper ACR raising the heat of the competition as it managed to clock an impressive time of 7 minutes and 3.45 seconds. For a first attempt, those are some outstanding figures and it has now turned into the official benchmark time for the Viper ACR.
This cannot be helped as the Viper ACR’s second attempt saw the car clocking the same time. In other words, this is the accepted official numbers for now. It also means that the Viper ACR is slower than the Lamborghini Huracan and Porsche 918 Spyder.
The good news is that the Viper ACR is now the fastest American road-legal car to ever race on the Ring and it is also the fastest manual car around.
