Elder Scrolls 6: Online Mode Will Only Damage Prospects

Elder Scrolls 6 is one of the most anticipated games around and fans of the Elder Scrolls series can’t wait to see what the game will have to offer. Like Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim and the games before it, Elder Scrolls 6 is expected to feature a large map with plenty of contents to offer.

While fans would love to see a lot of new features in Elder Scrolls 6, some features should not make it into the game as having them will only ruin the experience. Among them is an online multiplayer mode.

We feel that it is best if the game sticks to its single player roots and not come with an online multiplayer mode. This is because having the mode around would mean that Bethesda has shifted their attention to two game styles rather than going all-out with the single player mode. It could lead to an underwhelming single player experience in Elder Scrolls 6.

Besides, there is already Elder Scrolls Online that can fulfil the needs of multiplayer lovers. So instead of having two game modes in Elder Scrolls 6, Bethesda should launch a new Elder Scrolls Online that is based on the upcoming sequel. What do you think?
