The Xbox One Scorpio will be launched late this year, sometime during the holiday period and it looks like it just got a whole lot more exciting!
The console featuring 4K capabilities will be receiving Fallout 4 and Skyrim patches, according to the director and executive producer over at Bethesda.
Todd Howard said that, “We just wrapped up updating Fallout 4 for the PS4 Pro. We’re used to that in the PC world. We can update the games, and people keep playing it. Microsoft’s Scorpio is coming next year, and we’ll update Fallout 4 and Skyrim for that. That’s our hope, that these consoles keep that spirit going forward.”
That’s not all – Warner Bros has even affirmed that Shadow of War will be making its way into the console when it arrives. If you didn’t already know, Shadow of War is also a Play Anywhere title; so, you could buy it for PC through the Microsoft Store and play it on the Xbox One.
If the rumor mill turns out to be true, we just may be seeing the Xbox One make its big reveal sometime during this year’s E3!
