Do you think it’s possible that Fallout 4 could be more successful than the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim? Well, the company is pretty positive about it.
Bethesda’s VP of marketing and public relations, Pete Hines, made an appearance on Kinda Funny Gamescast recently where he revealed to host Greg Miller that the Fallout 4 is the “most successful” title, thus far.
“Fallout 4 has gotta be the most successful game we’ve ever launched in our company’s history,” said Hines. Apparently, it’s far more successful than The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim “in terms of what we did.”
However, it’s not clear what Hines meant when he used the term “successful.” It’s hard to say in terms of sales as there is no updated figures for Fallout 4.
Sometime back in November 2015, the title shipped about 12 million units globally to cater to day one demand at retail and digital channels on various platforms, totaling to over $750 million in sales.
Skyrim which was launched in November 2011 had successfully sold 30 million copies and gained the “Special Edition” treatment last October.
Well, do you think Fallout 4 could beat Skyrim, when it comes to sales?
