Ford has officially announced that the Shelby GT350 and GT350R Mustangs has received the approval for another year of production – as 2018 models.

That’s not all – these models will be available in three new colors: Orange Fury, Kona Blue, Lead Foot Gray. The former two color options will be available for EcoBoost and GT trim models, as well.

Don’t expect to see massive changes for the GT350s as they aren’t receiving any other revamps for the 2018MY. The model will still be coming with auxiliary coolers for the transmission, differential and engine oil.

If you weren’t aware, these are important standard equipment as many 2016 owners had reported of an annoying “limp mode” issue when taken on the track. The situation was so bad that these owners even filed a lawsuit against the company!

Aside that, those interested in the 2018 GT350s can also add two option packages: Electronics Package and the Convenience Package.

The first package adds SYNC 3 along with an enhanced sound system while the other package employs heated and cooled power seat. That said, the price breakdown has yet to be announced.
