After the Google Pixel device, a lot of people are expecting the Google Pixel 2 to be the Android smartphone to beat this year. With smartphones like the LG V30 and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 offering so much, Google will have to bring their A game. Can they do it?
While initial rumors suggest that the Google Pixel 2 might pack a punch when it arrives, new details from 9to5Google might shed some light on what the new Pixel 2 is really going to offer. According to the report, we will be getting a device with a new slate gray exterior. It will come with an IP68 rating and will be offered with two storage options, 64GB and 128GB.
However, they also added that the device might only sport a 4.97inch display screen which is smaller than the Pixel device and that the camera will still use EIS instead of the OIS that we were all hoping for. If that is the case, we might not even see the Pixel 2 with a dual camera feature either.
There were also rumors about the Pixel 2 coming without a headphone jack as well. While the Apple fans seem to be adapting to that pretty well, we are not sure how the Android community will handle that.
