Jeep will be offering some special limited edition packages while consumers await the arrival the of the next-gen JL Wrangler, arriving some time in the second half of next year.
The 2017 Wrangler Sport Freedom edition and the 2017 Wrangler Sahara Winter edition are the first two limited models to be detailed to dealers in their November orders and expected to go on sale in December.
This keeps up with Jeep’s tradition of luring buyers with limited edition models to maintain the demand of the Wrangler, especially since it has recently been declining.
Besides these two, the automaker will also offer a Sport Big Bear Edition, Sahara Chief edition, Sahara Smoky Mountain edition and a Rubicon Recon edition next year.
The JL Wrangler is expected to begin production in mid-2017 and it will be equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission as well as a turbocharged four-cylinder engine along with significant aerodynamic refinements.
