HTC has announced that the One M9 will be following right behind the HTC 10 flagship, in terms of software update. Since last night, folks who own an unlocked One M9 in the US has started receiving the Nougat update.

This device will be running on the same version of Android as the HTC 10, the Android 7.0 Nougat and not the Android 7.1 Nougat.

There is a bad news though – carrier versions of the HTC One M9, as well as the HTC 10, will only be seeing the update some time in the beginning of next year. Prior to that, the smartphone maker may kick off a Nougat update to its unlocked One A9.

This new update will be bringing an array of features to improve the performance and interface of the One M9. Check out this video below to get a better idea of what these new features are:

Well, do let us know if you have jumped on the Nougat bandwagon!
