One of the hardest tech manufacturers for us to understand is HTC. The Taiwanese firm has been actively competing in the Android smartphone market but it has never managed to rival Samsung and LG’s market share.
Heck, it wasn’t that long ago when HTC was seen struggling financially but they manage to escape death thanks to projects handed by Google. If any other companies are at its position, they would definitely revise their battle plan and offer attractive products to strengthen their finances.
Well, this is not the case with HTC as they keep on making unpopular decisions. The latest U11 came out without a headphone jack and this has driven away many potential buyers. If that is not bad enough, the U11 is being fed with adverts which are hurting user experience.
As how you can see above, the ad was forced into the notification of the U11 and it saw HTC promoting on their other products. When you pay so much for a flagship phone, you would want the ads to remain confined on the free apps and not appear on the phone. HTC has apparently gone to a new low with the forced adverts decision.
