Both the Huawei Mate 9 and the iPhone 7 Plus are currently available in the market since late last year. Despite the former being a China-made device, it still matches up pretty closely to the Apple-made iPhone 7 Plus.

The Mate 9 measures at 5.9-inches, with about 77.5 percent screen-to-body ratio, while the iPhone 7 Plus is a 5.5-incher, with about 67.7 percent of screen-to-body ration. Both these devices has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, but the iPhone 7 Plus surpasses with its approximate 401 ppi pixel density.

Since one is an Android device and another is an Apple product, they differ in their platform. The Mate 9, running on Hisilicon Kirin 960, comes with Android 7.0 Nougat onboard while the iPhone 7 Plus, running on Apple A10 Fusion, comes with iOS 10.0.1, and it is upgradable to iOS 10.2.

The Mate 9 has 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and it can be expanded using a microSD card up to 256GB. The iPhone 7 Plus, on the other hand, has 3GB RAM and comes in three variants; the 32GB model, the 128GB model and the 256GB model.

These two devices offer a dual camera setup. The Huawei’s primary cameras sits at 20 MP and 12 MP, with an 8 MP selfie camera, while the Apple’s primary cameras measure at 12 MP for both with a 7 MP selfie camera.

The Huawei Mate 9, with 4,000 mAh battery, comes in Space Gray, Moonlight Silver, Champagne Gold, Mocha Brown, Ceramic White, Black and Obsidian Black. And, the iPhone, equipped with a 2,900 mAh battery, comes in Jet Black, Black, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold.
