Kia Telluride SUV Will Drop Concept Title

We all got to see Kia’s Telluride Concept at the Detroit Auto Show two years ago and now it looks like Kia might be ready to take things one step further by turning the concept into a production model.

In case you don’t remember the concept, the Telluride concept was a full-sized three-row SUV and new reports are now saying that Kia is looking to release the vehicle soon despite their SUV sales dropping last year.

It was reported that Kia is preparing to announce something soon and although they did not specify what it is, most people believe that it is going to be the seven-passenger vehicle. The Telluride concept model was powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine that will be offering about 270hp and an electric motor that will be offering about 130hp.

The new SUV will be offering more space than the Kia Sorento but we will have to wait and see if it is enough to improve the SUVs sales for Kia.
