LG’s G6 is really one of the most appealing Android devices we have seen in this past year and it’s no surprise that we often hear it being compared against Samsung’s latest Galaxy S8 device. However, how does the LG G6 compare against the older powerhouse, the LG V20?
The LG G6, sporting a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 2880 x 1440, is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 mated to a mighty 4GB RAM.
The device offers 32GB of internal storage with support for expandable memory. The G6, fitted with a non-removable 3,300 mAh battery, is IP68 water and dust resistant certified and it looks sleek in its small build.
Meanwhile, the LG V20, featuring a 5.7-inch screen with a slightly lower resolution of 2560 x 1440, runs on Snapdragon 820 paired to a 4GB RAM.
The V20 comes with 64GB build-in storage with support for expandable storage. It is equipped with a 3,200 mAh battery and weighs much heavier at 6.1 ounces compared to the LG G6’s 5.8 ounces.
When it comes to camera, most folks seems to incline toward the LG G6, as seen on Android Central threads. The LG G6 sports a dual 13MP rear-facing camera with a 5MP selfie-snapper. The LG V20, on the other hand, comes with a 16MP+8MP back camera with a 5MP secondary camera.
We have to admit that both these devices have their own steady group of fans. While the V20 is a beefy device, the G6 appears to be slick and perfect for one-hand usage but then again, it depends on the buyer’s personal preference as well as their needs.
That said, if you had to pick between these two LG devices, which device would you opt for and why?
