Moto X Pure Edition Finally Takes Its Nougat Leap!

In March, Motorola kicked off a soak test for the Android 7.0 update for its Moto X Pure Edition that was launched in 2015. And now it’s good news for all user as the soak test has ended and Motorola has announced the official rollout of the update.

The Android 7.0 Nougat update is now being sent out via over-the-air update to units that has been purchased in the United States.

If you haven’t seen the update on your Moto X Pure device, don’t worry as it will take some time to reach all devices. However, if patience isn’t your strongest attribute, you can opt to look for it yourself by going to your Settings>About phone>System Update.

The Nougat update promises a redesigned notification system along with split-screen multitasking, quick switching between apps, Doze on the Go to improve battery life as well as custom quick settings and a brand new emoji system.
