Later this year, the Assassin’s Creed series will look to make a return with a brand new sequel and it will be one that changes the chronological order of the series.
Insiders from Ubisoft spoke to WWG and revealed that the next sequel will be called Assassin’s Creed Origins. The reason for the title is to show how Assassin’s Creed gets established and where the feuds all began.
What’s more interesting about it is that the insiders quoted that the game will be set in ancient Egypt while also covering large parts of southern Europe. It was mentioned that players will get to sail across the Mediterranean to Greece and its islands.
While it all sounds exciting, the above is based on rumours and you should take it with a grain of salt. All will be confirmed when Ubisoft takes the stage at E3 next month.
