Mercedes has not mentioned anything about their plans for the GLA but new spy shots seem to suggest that they are already working on something.
New spy shot reveals what looked like a 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class model being covered in camo stickers but upon closer inspection, some people have started speculating that the vehicle might not be the A-Class but the next-gen Mercedes-Benz GLA model.
Some people pointed out that the fender extension suggests that the vehicle might be something other than the hatchback. We know that the GLA will most likely share the same architecture as the A-Class but it will also be given wider tracks, higher ground clearance and more.
We still do not know all the engines that will be offered with the GLA but there were speculations that we might see the 1.3-liter petrol engine that Daimler has developed with the help of Renault, Nissan, and Mitsubishi. The GLA is only expected to arrive end of this year or early 2019.
