Nexus 6: Where Did It All Go Wrong?
It’s odd how the industry works. These days, it looks like it is the companies that have mastered the art of frustrating its consumers that bring in the big bucks.
There’s no doubt that Google is one of those companies. Despite Google hiding its Nexus family’s profit numbers, it’s widely known that many users, especially Nexus 6 users, are clearly annoyed with this search engine giant.
And they have every right to be. Google has abandoned them by refusing to revive all the great features that they have fallen in love with on the Nexus 6. The proof can be seen in the Pixel duo which seems to be inclining in the direction of Apple.
There’s no word if there’ll ever be another 6.0-incher from Google, but the possibility seems really slim right now. Aside that, the wireless charging feature of the Nexus 5X and 6P was said to be left out as USB Type-C ports would make it irrelevant.
It looks like Nexus 6 owners have been left in the dark but thankfully, the device is a durable model. The Nexus 6 is one of the most dependable device in the Nexus family and considering its popularity, it will still be supported with unofficial ROMs for a long time more.
