A large percentage of of Nexus 6P users have reported have been experiencing sudden shut downs, whether at 10 percent or 60 percent battery, ever since being updated to Android 7.0 Nougat.
Google doesn’t seem to paying much attention to this problem but threads on Reddit and Google Product Forums have been fueled up as more users are experiencing similar situations.
Some have resorted to reverting back to Android Marshmallow, whereas some has opted to switch the battery unit, however these are fruitless efforts as the issue still persists and some has continued to grow worse.
On top of that, some users have reported that this could be related to cold temperatures. Till date, neither Google nor Huawei, who co-produced the device, has acknowledged this issue. This is really frustrating as these users has just bought their device over a year ago.
Well, it looks like things would only get worse from here on unless Google or Huawei steps up and releases a software patch to rectify this issue.
