Despite the fact that none of the leaked specs of the Nintendo Switch matches it up to the current-gen hardware, such as the PS4 or Xbox One, many folks were hoping for a Switch version of Mass Effect: Andromeda.
However, it seems that all hope has been crushed, at least for now, as no Switch version has been planned, according to Michael Gamble of BioWare.
Gamble revealed to Stevivor that although the studio di not shun the idea, it is not currently working on a version for the Switch.
“We’re not planning on it. If the Switch launches and everyone’s just yammering for Mass Effect, who knows,” added Gamble.
So far, the only Mass Effect title that made its way into a Nintendo console was Mass Effect 3. Well, don’t be sad just yet as you still have next week to look forward to, where you’ll be treated to more news on the console’s launch line up.
Gamers on PC, PS4 and Xbox One can expect to see Mass Effect: Andromeda sometime in spring 2017.
