OnePlus 3 Gets OxygenOS 4.0.1 Update
OnePlus has began rolling out its new update for the OnePlus 3, its previous flagship device. OxygenOS 4.0.1 is an update based on the Android 7.0 Nougat, since the device has been updated to this OS.
This update will be bringing a host of enhancements including an updated APN settings for certain carriers as well as an increase in its system stability. OnePlus also reports that the proximity sensor bug during calls has been rectified, too.
However, the WiFi connectivity may not be working as well as it ought to and if you notice this situations, you should contact the company on this matter.
Aside that, OnePlus has provided some alternate ways to get around the issue of some apps that may not be able to download from the Google Play Store. The company states that if you’re attempting to download apps using Data Roaming, it will not work as this is a known Google issue. All you go to do is to follow Google’s troubleshooting steps to fix this problem.
You could also try switching on the Battery Saving Mode and reset Google Play Store app preferences. If it still refuses to work, check if you have the Truecaller, AVG Antivirus and PayTm installed on your device. If you have, try to force stop or uninstall them prior to downloading an app from the Google Play Store.
If you’re experiencing any mobile date issues as a result of APN, OnePlus suggests going to the APN settings page and trying out all the options manually. If that doesn’t solve the issue, then put in a feedback to the developers so that they could replicate the bug.
