Pokemon Go Isn’t Slowing Down Anytime Soon
Pokemon Go has hit over 1 million downloads ever since it was launched on July 6, 2016. With a total revenue of about $23 million, this game is definitely a money maker for Niantic.
And it looks like the company isn’t ready to slow down anytime soon. Niantic revealed to a Japanese website that a Pokemon Go Legendary event could be taking place come July this year.
However, that isn’t all there is to it as the company has also revealed that there could be some new updates heading to Pokemon Go.
Aside from new game mechanics such as raids, PvP and player trading, Niantic is also bringing co-op play sometime in this quarter or the next. That’s not all – there is also some smaller events planned for the rest of the year.
Niantic has also teased that it is currently working on a wearable AR device for the game but, apparently, the technology still needs a whole lot of work so don’t get your hopes high, just yet.
