Porsche 911 Turbo S Puts Model S P100D In Its Place
The Tesla Model S P100D has came out as the clear winner in almost all of the drag races it has participated in. However, it looks like it has finally lost to a worthy adversary.
The Porsche 911 Turbo S is the speedster that had beaten the Model S in the recent drag race. However, this wasn’t the standard 523 horsepower with 516 lb-ft torque version. This 911 Turbo S boasted 600 horsepower with 600 lb-ft torque all thanks to its GIAC tune.
Both vehicles had secured the quarter mile race in the mid to high 10s with more than 120 mph. While the P100D is an intimidating machine, the 911 Turbo and Turbo S is the range-toppers for the non-electric vehicle segment.
That is probably the main reason why the Porsche 911 Turbo S didn’t lose this race, especially with the fact that it was packed with a whole lot more power than its original.
