Capcom has already made it clear that they are working on the Resident Evil 2 Remake but with Capcom keeping such a tight lid on the development of the game, they are opening up the doors for the pranksters to take advantage of the fans.
The Resident Evil 2 Remake trailer was released a few months ago and some fans are still falling for it. We can’t really blame them because the trailer is really well made and it does look like the prankster put a lot of effort in it.
One of the biggest giveaways is the release date of the trailer. The Resident Evil 2 Remake was released on the 1st of April so most people should have noticed that it is a prank but a lot of fans did not and were pretty unhappy when they found out that it was a prank.
At the end of the day, it was Capcom that got all the firing as fans were reminded of how little information they were given about the remake.
